Job summary

Academics in Halifax is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to support children and young people in a school setting. You will work 1:1 or in small groups, enabling them to engage with school life and develop essential skills for the future.

This role values safeguarding, quick thinking and strong communication, with flexible hours and access to safeguarding training through Academics.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children and SEND is required.
• Safeguarding should be at the forefront of practice.
• Ability to work 1:1 or in small groups with flexibility.
