Job summary

Academics is currently seeking a SEND 1 to 1 support. The role involves working closely with a child who has SEND, bringing empathy, flexibility, patience and energy to every session.

We offer flexible working hours and a dedicated SEN Consultant in Halifax to support you at every step. Training including safeguarding is provided for free through Academics' Registration, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

• SEND experience with a variety of different needs.
• Teaching experience is core subjects such as English, Maths and/or Science
• Safeguarding training to ensure a safe learning environment for you and the child you support.
• Creative learning methods that are adaptable to suit individual SEND 1 to 1 Support placements

Position Overview

Academics is currently looking for SEND 1 to 1 support to work closely with a child who has SEND. We are searching for someone who is empathetic, flexible, patient and energetic. Someone who has a passion for education and support on a 1 to 1 basis.

We work with local authorities and specalist schools to get the best 1 to 1 Support for our children in Halifax, with lots of opportunities for short term and long-term positions as a SEND 1 to 1 Support.
