Cover People are working with a specialist primary school in Salford that is looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic and nurturing Complex Needs SEND Teacher to join their team from September 2026. This is a full-time, long‑term position, with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate.
Role: Primary Complex Needs SEND Teacher at a specialist school in Salford
Start: September 2026
Contract: Full-time, long‑term, with potential to become permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, full time
Pay: £160–£230 per day DOE – paid PAYE directly through Cover People. We do not use umbrella companies!
Equal pay: Equal pay to permanent staff in the same role from the 13th week of your placement onwards.
NB: Mainstream Primary Teachers with experience supporting pupils with complex needs, autism or within SEND/specialist settings are encouraged to apply.
All pay rates include 12.07% statutory holiday pay where applicable.
Successful applicants will be subject to safeguarding and vetting procedures in line with statutory guidance, including an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
