Job summary

Cover People are recruiting a SEND Primary Teacher to join a specialist primary school in Trafford from September 2026. This is a full-time, long-term role teaching a KS2 class of pupils with complex learning needs.

The role offers excellent daily pay and the chance to secure a permanent position, with a welcoming team and strong SEND support. You will work closely with teaching assistants and therapists to deliver differentiated lessons and monitor pupil progress.

Qualifications

• QTS is required and relevant teaching experience in primary education, ideally in SEND.
• Experience teaching primary-aged pupils in SEND or specialist settings preferred.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

Responsibilities

• Teach a KS2 class of pupils with complex learning needs.
• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual EHCP outcomes.
• Create a calm, inclusive and nurturing classroom environment.
• Work closely with Teaching Assistants, therapists and the wider SEND team.
• Monitor progress and support pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
• Build strong relationships with parents, carers and external professionals.

We are recruiting aSEND Primary Teacher to join a welcoming special needs primary school in Trafford from September 2026. This is a full-time, long-term role teaching a Key Stage 2 class of pupils with complex learning needs.

Role: SEND Primary Teacher Trafford

Start Date: September 2026

Contract: Full-time, Long-term (with potential for a permanent position)

Hours: Monday to Friday

Pay: £160 230 per day DOE paid PAYE direct via Cover People.
