Overview

A forward-thinking SEND school in East Acton is looking for a passionate and committed Sports Coach to support pupils with SEMH needs and challenging behaviours. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about making a real difference through physical education and structured activities.

Responsibilities
  • Use sport and movement to engage students positively and consistently
  • Stay calm under pressure and manage challenging behaviours effectively
  • Inspire and motivate students with a confident, caring, and energetic approach
  • Show empathy and adaptability to meet the needs of students with complex profiles
  • Work collaboratively with staff and parents to promote progress and wellbeing
  • Be proactive and resilient in a demanding but rewarding environment
Requirements / Qualifications

Although direct school-based experience isn't essential, we welcome applicants with backgrounds in sports coaching, youth work, or care settings, especially if you've supported individuals with behavioural or emotional needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
