Job summary

SENse Learning is seeking Specialist Teachers to provide one-to-one support for SEND learners across KS1–KS5. Roles involve in-person, online, and hybrid tutoring, with flexible scheduling and a focus on trauma-informed, child-centered education.

Applicants should have 2+ years post-NQT teaching experience, QTS/QTLS, and be based in the UK. Roles are self-employed with DBS and references arranged as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of post-NQT teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a holistic and trauma-informed way.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS) required.
• Child-centred, holistic approach with the ability to tailor curriculum to individual needs.
• Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references obtained or facilitated.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with children and young people with diverse needs.
• Provide in-person, online/remote, and hybrid tutoring and mentoring.
• Plan and report lessons and provide feedback on student progress.
• Support pupils from KS1–KS5 according to ability and need.
