Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a SEND Teacher for a welcoming SEND school in Bradford. The role is available day-to-day or long-term from September, teaching pupils from Primary to Secondary with diverse needs in a nurturing environment.

You will deliver engaging lessons, manage behaviours, and support pupils to achieve personal learning goals, emphasizing confidence and progress while collaborating with colleagues.

Qualifications

• QTS or relevant teaching qualification.
• Experience working with Primary and Secondary aged pupils.
• Experience supporting children and young people with additional needs.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A patient, adaptable and caring approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons that meet a variety of additional learning needs.

Yorkshire and Humber/ contract / £120 - 170 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming SEND school in Bradford, who are looking to appoint a SEND Teacher. The school provides a nurturing and inclusive environment where pupils are encouraged to develop academically, socially and emotionally, with a strong focus on personalised learning and positive outcomes.

The school is looking to appoint a SEND Teacher on either a day-to-day or long-term basis from September. The successful SEND Teacher will work with pupils ranging from Primary to Secondary age, delivering engaging lessons that meet a variety of additional learning needs while promoting confidence, independence and progress.

The successful SEND Teacher will have:

• QTS or relevant teaching qualification
• Experience working with Primary and Secondary aged pupils
• Experience supporting children and young people with additional needs
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A patient, adaptable and caring approach
