Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant for a long-term supply role starting on 1st September at a small primary school in Harrogate. You will support children with additional needs across all primary year groups, collaborating with class teachers to deliver tailored interventions and help pupils reach their potential in an inclusive environment.

Salary: £100 to £115 per day

TeacherActive is recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant for a long-term supply position starting on 1st September. The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will work across all primary year groups, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, working closely with class teachers to deliver tailored interventions and promote positive learning outcomes.

The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working as a SEND Teaching Assistant within a primary school setting
• A passion for supporting children with additional learning needs
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• The ability to adapt to the needs of different year groups and individual pupils
• A patient, caring and positive approach to supporting children's learning and wellbeing
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
