Job summary

TeacherActive is working with SEND Provisions in Leeds to appoint SEND Specialist Teaching Assistants for KS3 and KS4. The role involves delivering 1:1 and small-group interventions to promote positive behaviour and engagement in learning.

Roles are contract-based with ASAP start. Competitive daily pay (£95-£115), PAYE arrangements, and access to CPD and consultant support are provided to ensure a smooth onboarding process.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND and challenging behaviours.
• Experience working within an Alternative Provision, SEND setting or similar environment.
• Excellent behaviour management and de-escalation skills.
• The ability to build positive and trusting relationships with students.
• A patient, resilient and proactive approach.
• A genuine passion for supporting young people to achieve their potential.

we are looking to take on SEND Specialist Teaching Assistants on either a short-term or long-term basis with an ASAP start. The successful Behaviour Support Worker will support students across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, delivering a mixture of 1:1 support and small group interventions, promoting positive behaviour and helping students engage successfully with their learning.

The successful Behaviour Support Worker will have:

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND and challenging behaviours
