Job summary

TeacherActive is supporting a welcoming SEND school in Bradford to appoint a SEND Teacher. The role offers day-to-day or long-term placements from September for Primary to Secondary pupils with diverse learning needs.

You will deliver engaging lessons, adapt to individual needs and contribute to pupils’ confidence and progress in a nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• QTS or relevant teaching qualification.
• Experience working with Primary and Secondary aged pupils.
• Experience supporting children and young people with additional needs.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A patient, adaptable and caring approach.

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming SEND school in Bradford, who are looking to appoint a SEND Teacher. The school provides a nurturing and inclusive environment where pupils are encouraged to develop academically, socially and emotionally, with a strong focus on personalised learning and positive outcomes.

The school is looking to appoint a SEND Teacher on either a day-to-day or long-term basis from September. The successful SEND Teacher will work with pupils ranging from Primary to Secondary age, delivering engaging lessons that meet a variety of additional learning needs while promoting confidence, independence and progress.

The successful SEND Teacher will have:

• QTS or relevant teaching qualification

• Experience working with Primary and Secondary aged pupils

• Experience supporting children and young people with additional needs

• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• A patient, adaptable and caring approach
