Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a SEND Teacher for short-term and long-term roles in the Harrogate area. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, support pupils with various additional needs, and collaborate with support staff to ensure learners can access the curriculum and achieve positive outcomes.

Applicants should have QTS, SEND teaching experience, and strong differentiation skills, plus excellent communication and teamwork.

Yorkshire and Humber/ contract / £140 - 220 per day

We are looking to recruit a SEND Teacher for both short-term and long-term opportunities. The successful SEND Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, supporting students with a range of additional needs, and working closely with support staff to ensure all learners can access the curriculum and achieve positive outcomes.

The successful SEND Teacher will have:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• Experience teaching children or young people with additional needs
• The ability to differentiate lessons to meet individual learning needs
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A patient, adaptable and positive approach to teaching
