Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a SEND Learning Support Assistant for a specialist school in Wiltshire. The role is full-time and temporary, starting ASAP, supporting pupils aged 11 to 19 with SEND, SEMH, ADHD and autism.

You will work on individual learning plans, support emotional and social development, and help maintain a calm, proactive learning environment. PAYE payroll and competitive hourly rates.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting SEND pupils or young people with SEMH/ADHD/Autism.
• Experience in schools or similar settings desirable.
• Able to support individuals and small groups with a calm approach.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with individual learning programmes.
• Support emotional and social development and behaviour.
• Engage pupils in learning with a calm, proactive approach.
• Work with pupils in small groups and one-to-one.
