Job summary

Connex Education Partnership is seeking dedicated SEND Learning Support Assistants to work across specialist schools in Devizes and surrounding areas. You will provide tailored support to pupils and work as part of a wider team with teachers and specialists.

This role offers flexible day-to-day supply, short- and long-term placements and temp-to-perm opportunities, with daily PAYE rates between £95 and £110. Start date September 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEND in an education setting.
• Ability to work as part of a wider team with teachers and specialists.
• Wamiliarity with planning for individual pupil needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, small-group and classroom support to pupils.
• Assist pupils with personalised curriculum and learning goals.
• Support communication, interaction and social development.
• Encourage independence and life skills development.
• Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
• Assist with sensory, therapeutic and practical activities as required.
• Support with personal care where needed.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists and specialist staff.
• Follow individual education and support plans.
