Job summary

Ad Warrior is seeking a SEND Intervention Lead for Stradbroke High School in Stradbroke, Eye. The role involves working with pupils with SEND, delivering tailored interventions and supporting in-classroom activity, with planning and monitoring responsibilities for intervention programs.

The ideal candidate will have GCSE English and Maths at grade C/4 or above, be able to work with small groups, and show initiative. Term-time plus 1 week, permanent contract, 31.25 hours per week.

SEND Intervention Lead

Location: Stradbroke High School, Stradbroke, Eye IP21 5JN

Salary: SCP7 £26,403 – SCP11 £28,142 per annum. Salary Pro Rata: £19,173 - £20,799 per annum

Vacancy Type: Permanent, 31.25hours per week, Term Time plus 1 week

The Role

The school caters for students of all abilities from its local community, including those with SEND. The successful candidate would mainly work with small groups outside the classroom delivering tailored interventions and individualised support though would also support in the classroom as required. They would be responsible for the planning and monitoring of the interventions.

The SEND Department plays a crucial role in the success of students and therefore a commitment to wider opportunities such as attending trips or being a first aider would be an advantage.
