Job summary

Stradbroke High School invites applications for a SEND Intervention Lead to support pupils with additional needs, delivering tailored interventions with small groups outside class and assisting in lessons as required.

The role focuses on planning and monitoring interventions, contributing to wider opportunities, and working within a committed SEND team to raise outcomes and foster a supportive school community.

Qualifications

• A commitment to working with young people and future career aspirations.
• An ability to use your initiative.
• Some experience of delivering ASDAN, Life Skills or similar non GCSE qualifications
• Experience of supporting small groups of students in lessons and/or one to one work
• Achieved GCSE or equivalent in both English & maths at grade C/4 or above

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor interventions for students with additional needs.
• Deliver tailored interventions to small groups outside the classroom; assist in class where required.
• Support wider opportunities and trips as part of the SEND provision.
• Work as part of the SEND Department to raise student outcomes and maintain confidentiality.
