Job summary

Stradbroke High School, part of Sapientia Education Trust, invites applications for a SEND Intervention Lead. The role focuses on delivering tailored interventions to small groups outside the classroom, with occasional classroom support as needed.

The post is permanent, 31.25 hours per week, term time plus one week, located at Stradbroke, Eye IP21 5JN. The successful candidate will contribute to wider opportunities and be committed to supporting students with SEND.

Salary: SCP7 £26,403 – SCP11 £28,142 per annum. Salary Pro Rata: £19,173 - £20,799 per annum

Vacancy Type: Permanent, 31.25hours per week, Term Time plus 1 week

The Role

The school caters for students of all abilities from its local community, including those with SEND. The successful candidate would mainly work with small groups outside the classroom delivering tailored interventions and individualised support though would also support in the classroom as required. They would be responsible for the planning and monitoring of the interventions.

The SEND Department plays a crucial role in the success of students and therefore a commitment to wider opportunities such as attending trips or being a first aider would be an advantage.

Qualifications and Experience

• Achieved GCSE or equivalent in both English & maths at grade C/4 or above
