Job summary

Stradbroke High School in Eye, Suffolk is seeking a dedicated Teacher of Science for a part-time maternity cover, teaching across KS3 and KS4 to all ability levels. You will uphold high standards of teaching, welfare, and behaviour in line with the school’s expectations.

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a small but exceptional department. Year on year the Science results are in the top 10% nationally for both progress and attainment. As a Teacher of Science, will have the opportunity to teach across both KS3 and 4 to all ability levels using your skills, experience and best endeavours and in accordance with Teachers’ Standards. You will abide by the Code of Conduct for Staff and Volunteers at Stradbroke High School.

A contribution to the wider life of the school is an expectation of all staff, for example by supporting the extra-curricular activities within the Science Department. This role is suitable for new or experienced colleagues who wish to teach enthusiastic students, in a school that supports and appreciates its staff.
