Job summary

Stradbroke High School, part of Sapientia Education Trust, invites applications for a SEND Intervention Lead. The role focuses on delivering tailored interventions to small groups outside the classroom, with occasional classroom support as needed.

The post is permanent, 31.25 hours per week, term time plus one week, located at Stradbroke, Eye IP21 5JN. The successful candidate will contribute to wider opportunities and be committed to supporting students with SEND.

Qualifications

• Commitment to working with young people
• Ability to use initiative
• Experience delivering ASDAN/Life Skills or similar non GCSE qualifications
• Experience supporting small groups in lessons and/or one-to-one work
• GCSE English & Maths at grade C/4 or above

Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored interventions to small groups outside the classroom
• Plan and monitor interventions
• Support in the classroom as required
• Contribute to wider opportunities and trips as needed
