Job summary

Stradbroke High School in Eye, Suffolk is seeking a SEND Intervention Lead to deliver tailored interventions to small groups and provide additional in-class support.

You will plan and monitor interventions, track progress, and work with the SEND Department to widen opportunities and ensure pupils' needs are met. This is a permanent role, 31.25 hours per week during term time plus one week, with a salary of £26,403–£28,142 per annum pro rata.

• The SEND Intervention Lead will primarily work with small groups outside the classroom delivering tailored interventions and individualised support.
• You would also support in the classroom as required and be responsible for the planning and monitoring of the interventions.
• The SEND Department plays a crucial role in the success of students and wider opportunities such as trips or first aider duties.

About the role

The school caters for students of all abilities from its local community, including those with SEND. As the SEND Intervention Lead,you would mainly work with small groups outside the classroom delivering tailored interventions and individualised support though would also support in the classroom as required. You would be responsible for the planning and monitoring of the interventions.

The SEND Department plays a crucial role in the success of students and therefore a commitment to wider opportunities such as attending trips or being a first aider would be an advantage.
