Job summary

St John Fisher Catholic Academy in Harrogate is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support students with additional needs under teacher guidance. The role involves helping with lesson delivery and resources, both in and out of the classroom.

You will work under the SENCo to implement intervention strategies, building rapport with students and collaborating with staff. A strong Maths/English background and IT proficiency are important for daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Ability to relate to young people and support learning through SEN guidance.
• High standard of education including Maths and English.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and preparation of resources as needed.
