Job summary

Academics is seeking passionate individuals to support SEN learners with a range of needs. Roles include part-time, full-time and long-term positions with potential to become permanent for the right candidate. Successful candidates will earn a minimum of 90 a day.

A team-teach qualification is desirable but not essential. The successful candidate will be driven, committed to helping children make good progress, and comfortable supporting pupils in both mainstream and specialist settings.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children with SEND either on a 1:1 basis or in a classroom setting.
• Enthusiastic about working with SEND children.
• Be flexible, proactive and patient.
• Comfortable with personal care.
• Be able to communicate effectively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Support SEN learners with various special educational needs.
• Assist in classroom and 1:1 settings to promote good progress.
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to plan activities.
