Job summary

Heron Hall Academy, part of North Star Community Trust, seeks an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support pupils across a broad range of abilities. You will work with teachers and the SENCO to deliver tailored interventions and foster literacy, numeracy and independence.

You will contribute to a positive, inclusive culture, build relationships with pupils and colleagues, and support a safe, aspirational learning environment at Heron Hall Academy in Enfield.

Qualifications

• We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant who supports pupils across a range of abilities.
• Experience with secondary-aged pupils and supporting individuals or small groups is preferred.
• A good understanding of the secondary curriculum and positive behaviour management is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils individually and in small groups to achieve potential across literacy and numeracy.
• Collaborate with teachers, the SENCO and pastoral teams to deliver targeted interventions.
• Promote positive behaviour, wellbeing and inclusive learning in a supportive environment.
• Build positive relationships and contribute to a safe, respectful academy community.
