Job summary

Teaching Personnel in Hull is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support primary pupils, including those with special educational needs. The role is available to both full-time and part-time applicants, term time only, with pay of £92-£110 per day.

You will plan and deliver small group and one-to-one tutoring, assist classroom teachers, and help SEN students participate and progress in lessons. Relevant experience (e.g., TA, SEN sport coach, healthcare assistant) is welcomed, with safeguarding

Qualifications

• SEN experience or exposure is advantageous
• Experience with young children in education/childcare is desired
• First aid certification is an advantage but not mandatory

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver small group tutoring or catch-up programmes
• Plan and deliver one-to-one tutoring or catch-up programmes
• Assist classroom teachers to ensure SEN students participate and progress
• Undertake break time and lunch time duties as directed
• Maintain good communication with colleagues, students and parents/carers
