£89.05 - 96.50 per day

Supply Desk are looking for a dedicatedLearning Support Assistantto join a welcoming primary school in Brighton that we are partnered with, and provide high-quality,tailored supportto pupils withEHCPs.

You’ll work closely with children who need additional help withcommunication, emotional regulation, and access to learning—using effective andstructured routines, behaviour management techniques, and a nurturing approach to help them thrive.

You'll collaborate with experienced staff and external professionals, ensuring every child receives theregulated supportthey need to flourish both academically and emotionally.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Experience or strong interest in supporting children with SEN, including ASD, speech & language needs, or SEMH.

  • A sound understanding ofEHCPs,differentiation, and inclusive classroom practice.

  • Confident using alternativecommunicationtools and adapting teaching throughscaffolding.

  • A nurturing, proactive attitude and ability to work as part of a collaborative support team.

Requirements:

  • References for the past 2 years.

  • An Enhanced DBS Check on the update service (we can support you in applying for one).
  • 6 months of previous experience working with children preferred.
