A vibrant and nurturing special school in Hodge Hill is looking for a committed and energetic SEN Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team. The school provides specialist education for pupils aged 3-11 years with a range of severe and complex learning difficulties. Their approach is warm, inclusive, and deeply supportive, with a strong focus on personalised learning and creating an environment where every child can thrive.

The Role

We are seeking TAs who are:

  • Experienced in supporting children with SEND
  • Confident in adapting to different needs and routines
  • Proactive and able to use their initiative in the classroom
  • Local to the Hodge Hill area or able to commute easily
Your day-to-day work will involve:
  • Supporting pupils with severe and complex needs in small groups or on a 1:1 basis
  • Assisting the class teacher with tailored activities and learning tasks
  • Helping pupils with communication, engagement, and personal development
  • Contributing to a positive, safe, and structured learning environment
Working Pattern

This role is offered as daily supply, giving you flexibility. There are also opportunities for longer-term placements, allowing you to build strong relationships with the pupils and staff.
