TeacherActive Ltd is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils in a KS1 classroom in Rubery. The role is full-time and long-term, focusing on delivering tailored interventions for children with additional needs and keeping learners engaged throughout the school day.

You will need Level 2/Level 3 TA qualifications or equivalent, with proven SEN experience in KS1, and strong ASD/ADHD/SEMH understanding, coupled with excellent communication and behaviour management skills.

The school is looking to take on a full time, long term SEN Teaching Assistant to work within a KS1 classroom. The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will be supporting children with a range of additional needs, helping to deliver tailored interventions and ensuring pupils remain engaged and supported throughout the school day.

The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will have:

• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
• Experience working with children with SEN, particularly within KS1
• A strong understanding of supporting children with additional needs such as ASD, ADHD or SEMH
• Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
• A patient, caring and adaptable approach
• A ‘can-do’ attitude and willingness to support across the classroom
