Job summary

TeacherActive Limited. is partnering with a welcoming primary school in Moseley to recruit a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant for KS1. You will support pupils with additional needs and deliver tailored interventions to keep them engaged throughout the day.

The successful candidate will have Level 2/3 TA qualifications or equivalent, excellent communication, and a patient, adaptable approach. The role offers market-leading pay and ongoing CPD opportunities.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and behaviour management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support children with SEN in KS1 and deliver tailored interventions.

Start Date: October 2026
Salary: £95 - £110 per day

The school is looking to take on a full time, long term SEN Teaching Assistant to work within a KS1 classroom. The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will be supporting children with a range of additional needs, helping to deliver tailored interventions and ensuring pupils remain engaged and supported throughout the school day.

The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will have:

• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent


• Experience working with children with SEN, particularly within KS1


• A strong understanding of supporting children with additional needs such as ASD, ADHD or SEMH


• Excellent communication and behaviour management skills


• A patient, caring and adaptable approach


• A 'can-do' attitude and willingness to support across the classroom
