Job summary

TeacherActive Limited is recruiting a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant for a long-term post in the West Midlands. The role involves providing 1:1 support to pupils with Autism/ASD, Severe Learning Difficulties/SLD and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties/PMLD, helping with learning engagement, communication and personal development within a nurturing school environment in Dudley (DY5).

The position offers full-time hours and a pathway to permanent employment for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people with ASD, SLD and PMLD.
• Experience providing 1:1 support in a specialist SEN setting.
• Knowledge of supporting pupils with communication difficulties and complex learning needs.

The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience supporting children or young people with ASD, SLD and PMLD
• Experience providing 1:1 support in a specialist SEN setting
• Knowledge of supporting pupils with communication difficulties and complex learning needs
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
