Job summary

Protocol Education is recruiting a SEN Teaching Assistant for a welcoming school in Redhill, Surrey. The role involves supporting pupils with SEN, including ASC, ADHD, and language difficulties, on a one-to-one or small group basis.

You will assist the class teacher with delivering engaging lessons, promote independence, and support students to reach their full potential. DBS checks are required or willingness to obtain one.

Are you a caring and dedicated Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?

We are currently recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school in the Redhill area. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to support pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and moderate to severe learning needs.

The Role

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support pupils on a one-to-one and small group basis.
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and accessible lessons.
  • Encourage pupil participation, independence, and confidence.
  • Help implement individual education plans and support strategies.
  • Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, therapists, and parents.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
