Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd in Epsom, Surrey is seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Special Educational Needs in a welcoming school. You will provide one-to-one and small group support, assist with differentiated lessons and help students grow academically and socially.

The ideal candidate will have SEN experience, patience, and strong communication. An Enhanced DBS (Update Service) is preferred.

Are you a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant looking to support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?

We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive school in the Epsom area. This rewarding role involves supporting pupils with a variety of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, Speech and Language needs, and other learning difficulties, helping them to thrive both academically and socially.

The Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEN.
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons.
  • Support students with their academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Encourage independence, confidence, and positive behaviour.
  • Help implement individual education plans and targeted interventions.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, therapists, and parents to support pupil progress.
The Ideal Candidate
