Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd is seeking a caring SEN Teaching Assistant with care experience to support pupils with special educational needs in a primary setting. This full-time, term-time role pays £14.25 per hour and offers a ASAP or September 2026 start, with placements in BS4 and BS15.

You will provide one-to-one and small‑group support, help develop social, emotional and communication skills, and work closely with teachers and SEN specialists to implement learning plans.

Qualifications

• Experience in caring roles (care, health or social care)
• Ability to support pupils with SEN and learning difficulties
• Willingness to undertake safeguarding and DBS checks

The Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
