Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd in Redhill, Surrey is seeking an SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to support children with Special Educational Needs in a welcoming school environment. You will provide one-to-one and small group assistance to pupils and help deliver engaging learning activities.

The role requires patience, good communication, and the ability to work with teachers, SENCOs, therapists and parents. An Enhanced DBS is required or willingness to obtain one.

Are you a caring and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant looking to support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?

We are currently seeking a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming and inclusive school in the Redhill area. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to work closely with pupils who have a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and moderate learning needs.

The Role

As an SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with SEN.
  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging and accessible learning activities.
  • Support students with their academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Encourage independence, confidence, and positive behaviour.
  • Help implement individual learning plans and targeted interventions.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
