Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd in Hounslow, West London, is seeking an SEN Teacher to deliver differentiated lessons for pupils with SEN including ASC, SLD, MLD and complex needs.

You will collaborate with Teaching Assistants, therapists and parents to implement learning plans, monitor progress and maintain EHCP records. QTS or equivalent is required; competitive daily rates and long-term opportunities are offered.

Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children with additional needs?

We are seeking an enthusiastic SEN Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive specialist school in Hounslow. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to work with pupils who have a range of Special Educational Needs, including Autism (ASC), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), and complex needs.

The Role

As an SEN Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
  • Create and implement personalised learning plans and targets.
  • Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, therapists, parents, and external professionals.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Has experience teaching pupils with SEN, either in a specialist or mainstream setting.
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom management and behaviour support strategies.
  • Is patient, adaptable, and passionate about inclusive education.
  • Has strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience working with ASC, SLD, PMLD, SEMH, or complex needs is highly desirable.
