Protocol Education Ltd invites applications for an SEN Teaching Assistant position in Kingston Upon Thames. The role offers £92.63–£100.00 per day, full-time during term time and an immediate start.

You will support pupils with SEN and work with teachers to implement tailored learning plans in a welcoming school environment. Ideal candidates will have SEN experience, patience, and excellent communication skills.

The Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with additional learning needs.
• Assist students with a range of SEN, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, Speech and Language Needs, and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) requirements.
• Support pupils both inside and outside the classroom to encourage engagement and independence.
• Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and other support staff to deliver tailored learning plans.
• Foster a positive, nurturing and inclusive learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working with children or young people with SEN (school-based experience is desirable but not essential).
• Demonstrates patience, empathy and excellent communication skills.
• Is proactive, adaptable and passionate about supporting young people.
• Holds a DBS on the Update Service or is willing to obtain one.
• Has the right to work in the UK.
