The school is looking to take on a caring and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis, with an immediate start.

Qualifications

• A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent is desirable.
• Experience working with children or young people with SEN / SEND, particularly Autism / ASD.
• Experience providing personal care or willingness to undertake personal care responsibilities.
• The ability to support pupils with their learning, development and individual needs.
• A kind, patient and nurturing approach to supporting children with additional needs.
• A positive 'can-do' attitude and a genuine passion for helping children achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities

• Support children across a range of ages, predominantly with Autism Spectrum Disorder / ASD.
• Provide personal care or support with personal care responsibilities as required.
• Help set up classrooms to meet individual needs and support engaging learning activities.

The school is looking to take on a caring and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis, with an immediate start. The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will be supporting children across a range of ages, predominantly with Autism Spectrum Disorder / ASD, with responsibilities including providing personal care, supporting safe and engaging learning activities, and helping to set up classrooms to meet the individual needs of pupils.

The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will have:

• A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent is desirable

• Experience working with children or young people with SEN / SEND, particularly Autism / ASD

• Experience providing personal care or a willingness to undertake personal care responsibilities

• The ability to support pupils with their learning, development and individual needs
