Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a specialist SEN setting in Stechford to recruit an SEN Teacher for immediate start. The role offers day-to-day or longer-term opportunities, with both full-time and part-time options available, paid on a PAYE basis.

The successful candidate will have QTS and experience teaching pupils with autism, the ability to differentiate lessons, strong classroom management, and the resilience to adapt to individual needs while collaborating with support staff.

SEN Teacher

Location: Stechford

Start Date: Immediate Start

Salary: £170 - £220 per day

The setting provides a supportive and structured learning environment where teaching is adapted to individual needs, helping pupils develop their confidence, independence and engagement with education.

The setting is looking to appoint an SEN Teacher for day-to-day and long-term opportunities, with both full-time and part-time options available. The successful SEN Teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons, adapt teaching to meet the needs of pupils with Autism and work closely with support staff to provide a consistent approach to learning.

The successful SEN Teacher will have:

• QTS
• Experience teaching children and young people with SEND
• Experience supporting pupils with Autism / ASD
• The ability to differentiate and adapt lessons to individual needs
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• A patient, resilient and adaptable approach
