Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a SEND Teacher in Wiltshire to start ASAP. The role is full-time and temporary, delivering engaging lessons for pupils with ASC, attachment disorders and SEMH difficulties, with support staff to meet learning needs and promote confidence and progress.

The successful candidate will have QTS and experience with SEND; ECTs are welcome. The school offers a supportive environment with a focus on inclusive education and continued professional development.

Qualifications

• QTS / Qualified Teacher Status (ECTs welcome)
• Experience teaching children or young people with SEND is desirable
• Experience supporting pupils with ASC, attachment disorders and/or SEMH difficulties
• Ability to adapt and differentiate lessons to meet individual learning needs
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• A patient, resilient and adaptable approach to teaching

Salary: £145 - £245 per day

Do you have the creativity and adaptability to engage pupils with Autism / ASC, attachment disorders and Social, Emotional and Mental Health / SEMH difficulties?

The school is looking to appoint a SEND Teacher ASAP on a full-time, temporary basis. The successful SEND Teacher will plan, adapt and deliver engaging lessons for pupils with ASC, attachment disorders and SEMH difficulties, working closely with support staff to meet individual learning needs and promote confidence, independence and positive progress.

The successful SEND Teacher will have:

• QTS / Qualified Teacher Status (ECTs are welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching children or young people with SEND is desirable
• Experience supporting pupils with ASC, attachment disorders and/or SEMH difficulties
• The ability to adapt and differentiate lessons to meet individual learning needs
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• A patient, resilient and adaptable approach to teaching
