TeacherActive is recruiting a Primary SEN Teacher in Stechford, Birmingham, for a long-term placement with potential to go permanent. Location is Stechford with daily rates of £175–£215.

The role requires planning and delivering tailored lessons for primary pupils with SEN, working with support staff, and maintaining a structured, inclusive classroom. The ideal candidate will hold QTS, have experience teaching primary-aged pupils, and be skilled at managing diverse needs and behaviours.

Start Date: September

Salary: £175 - £215 per day

The school provides an inclusive and supportive learning environment, with a strong focus on helping each pupil develop academically, socially and emotionally.

The school is looking to appoint a Primary SEN Teacher on a long-term basis from September, with the opportunity to go permanent for the right candidate. The successful Primary SEN Teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons adapted to individual needs, work closely with support staff and provide a structured learning environment where pupils can thrive.

The successful Primary SEN Teacher will have:

• QTS
• Experience teaching primary-aged pupils
• Experience supporting children with SEN and mixed additional needs
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• The ability to adapt lessons to meet individual learning needsA patient, resilient and flexible approach
