Job summary

TeacherActive is supporting a SEN school in Stechford to recruit a Primary SEN Teacher on a long-term basis from September, with a view to permanency for the right candidate. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to individual needs and work with support staff to maintain a structured, inclusive learning environment where every pupil can progress.

Role pays £175–£215 per day under PAYE, with consultation support and access to CPD courses.

Qualifications

• QTS is required.
• Experience teaching primary-aged pupils.
• Experience supporting children with SEN and mixed needs.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Ability to adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs.
• Patient, resilient and flexible approach.

The school provides an inclusive and supportive learning environment, with a strong focus on helping each pupil develop academically, socially and emotionally.

The school is looking to appoint a Primary SEN Teacher on a long-term basis from September, with the opportunity to go permanent for the right candidate. The successful Primary SEN Teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons adapted to individual needs, work closely with support staff and provide a structured learning environment where pupils can thrive.

The successful Primary SEN Teacher will have:

• QTS


• Experience teaching primary-aged pupils


• Experience supporting children with SEN and mixed additional needs


• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills


• The ability to adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs
