Job summary

Vision for Education is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to work in an SEN School in Redditch on a full-time basis.

You will support pupils with a range of SEN, contribute to a positive learning environment and collaborate with teaching staff to help pupils progress at their own pace. DBS checks and references will be required as part of safeguarding and recruitment processes.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children, particularly those with SEN.
• Patience in managing challenging behaviour and helping students progress at their own pace.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with students.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support pupils with a range of SEN and complex needs.
• Support pupils to progress at their own pace and adapt approaches as needed.
• Maintain a safe and positive learning environment and assist with behaviour management.
• Ensure safeguarding and DBS checks are up to date as part of the registration process.
