Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking an SEN Teacher for a Stechford primary setting to deliver engaging lessons for pupils with SEND. The role is long-term with an immediate start, planning with support staff to provide a personalised approach to learning.

SEN Teacher

Location: Stechford

Start Date: Immediate Start

Salary: £170 - £220 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a primary SEN setting in Stechford supporting pupils with a range of additional needs. The setting provides a supportive and structured learning environment where pupils are encouraged to develop their confidence, independence and engagement with education.

The school is looking to appoint an SEN Teacher on a long-term basis with an immediate start. The successful SEN Teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons, adapt teaching to meet individual learning needs and work closely with support staff to provide a consistent and personalised approach to learning.

The successful SEN Teacher will have:

• QTS
• Experience teaching within a primary setting
• Experience working with children and young people with SEND
• The ability to differentiate and adapt lessons to meet individual needs
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• A patient, resilient and adaptable approach
