Overview

Qualified Teacher - Balsall Heath

Aspire People is seeking a dedicated and resilient Qualified Teacher to join a specialist provision in the Balsall Heath area. This is a full‑time, long‑term position, starting as soon as possible, supporting pupils with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs.

The Role

You will be responsible for planning and delivering tailored lessons that meet the needs of pupils with SEMH challenges. Essential Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
  • Experience working with SEMH pupils or within specialist settings
  • Strong behaviour management and de‑escalation skills
  • Ability to remain calm, consistent and compassionate
  • A proactive, resilient and supportive approach
  • Availability for full‑time, long‑term work starting immediately
