A welcoming and supportive primary school in Openshaw (M11) is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from September on a full-time, long-term basis until the end of the academic year.
The successful candidate will provide targeted support to pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them access learning, develop confidence and build their independence within a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
You will work closely with the class teacher, SENCO and wider school team to provide personalised support and help pupils overcome barriers to learning and reach their full potential.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children with additional needs and looking to develop their experience within a primary school setting.
This role is subject to an Enhanced DBS (Child Workforce), satisfactory references, and full compliance with KCSIE (2025) guidance and safer recruitment standards.
