This is a full-time, long-term opportunity for the entire academic year, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs.
The school provides a nurturing and structured learning environment where every child is encouraged to achieve their full potential through personalised support and positive relationships.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with teachers and therapists to provide both classroom and individual support, helping pupils develop academically, socially and emotionally.
The Role
Support pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) and associated communication needs.
Provide 1:1 and small group support throughout the school day.
Adapt learning activities to meet individual EHCP targets.
Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils through consistency and patience.
Promote emotional regulation, independence and confidence.
Work collaboratively with teachers and the wider multidisciplinary team.
Help maintain a safe, engaging and inclusive classroom environment.
The Idea Candidate
Experience working with children or young people with Special Educational Needs.
A calm, resilient and proactive approach to supporting behaviour and learning.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to build strong relationships with pupils who may require additional emotional support.
A genuine passion for helping children overcome barriers to learning.
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
What We Offer - £112.50 per day.
