Job summary

Monarch Recruitment Ltd is assisting a well-established SEN School in Oldham to recruit a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant for the 2026/27 academic year. The role offers a full-time schedule with a daily rate of £92.59–£110.24 and hours 8:30am–3:30pm, Monday to Friday.

Start date is September 2026, with long-term academic year commitment. The school supports students with a range of additional learning needs and provides a collaborative, inclusive environment where staff help learners overcome

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting children or young people in an educational, care, youth work or support setting.
  • Demonstrates patience, resilience and a proactive attitude.
  • Confident working with students with a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD and SEMH needs.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Committed to helping students achieve individual goals.
  • Holding relevant qualifications or transferable experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

  • Provide tailored support to pupils with SEND.

Key Responsibilities
