Job summary

Academics Agency in Doncaster is recruiting SEN Secondary Teaching Assistants to start as soon as possible across Doncaster's specialist schools. You will support pupils 1:1 and in small groups, building confidence and core skills amid autism, ADHD, and other needs.

Join a dedicated team with weekly pay, free CPD, flexible placements, and a consultant to guide you every step. Salary will reflect qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

• Qualified or experienced Level 3 TA or equivalent in education, childcare, or health settings.
• SEN-savvy and able to adapt, connect, and inspire.
• Calm under pressure; patient, flexible and solution-focused.
• DBS on the Update Service or happy to obtain quickly.
• Two strong professional references ready to go.

Responsibilities

• Be their champion, supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups.
• Think on your feet, adapting lessons and resources for each learner.
• Turn behaviour into progress with positive, tailored strategies.
• Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs and families to track progress and EHCPs.
• Meet each child where they are and take them further.

• Collaborate like a pro-working alongside teachers, SENCOs, and families to track progress and shape EHCPs.
• Embrace every challenge-from sensory sensitivities to speech delays, you'll meet each child where they are and take them further.

WHO YOU ARE:

• Qualified or experienced-Level 3 TA or equivalent experience in education, childcare, or health settings.
• SEN-savvy-you've supported children with additional needs and know how to adapt, connect, and inspire.
• Calm under pressure-patient, flexible, and solution-focused when things get tricky.
• DBS-ready-Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or happy to get one fast.
• Reference-perfect-two strong professional references ready to go.
