SEN Secondary Teacher - Folkestone

Academics Ltd are searching for an enthusiastic and committed SEN Secondary Teacher to join a highly regarded specialist school in Folkestone. The school caters for students with SLD, MLD and PMLD, offering a caring and inclusive environment where every young person is given the tools to achieve their full potential. You'll be responsible for delivering tailored learning experiences that meet the diverse needs of your students. You'll design engaging, accessible lessons that promote communication, independence and personal growth, working closely with a dedicated team of support staff and therapists.

Key Responsibilities: SEN Secondary Teacher
  • Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to the individual needs of pupils with a range of additional needs
  • Develop and implement personalised learning plans (EHCPs) that support academic progress and emotional wellbeing.
  • Confidently deliver a diversity of Speech and Language Therapy interventions
  • Use creative, multisensory approaches to make learning accessible and enjoyable for all
  • Track progress, assess learning outcomes, and contribute to whole-school development.
  • Ensure safeguarding of students

QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) - Essential

Excellent on-site training, support and CPD is provided to ensure safeguarding of all students

120 - 180 per day, Mon-Fri, 08:30 to 15:30, PAYE, Term time only
