Job summary

SENse Learning is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to help deliver one-to-one mentoring and learning support in homes and community settings across the UK. You will work with young people with complex needs, delivering holistic sessions that build confidence and life skills alongside education.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of relevant experience, are based in the UK, and hold an Enhanced DBS with two references.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience with children or young people with complex needs.
• Must be based in the UK with the right to work in the UK, including remote/online roles.
• Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references are required or can be facilitated.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong, positive relationships with children and young people.
• Provide one-to-one support in homes and community settings with creative activities.
• Support life skills, confidence, and independence.
• Use trauma-informed approaches and flexible strategies to support diverse needs.
• Provide feedback to track progress and adapt support.
