SENse Learning is seeking dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to provide one-to-one mentoring and learning support for SEND learners in homes and community settings across the UK. You will tailor sessions to individual needs, build confidence, and help develop essential life skills while working within a supportive team.

Role involves flexible hours, DBS clearance, and collaboration with parents, carers, and schools to create tailored learning plans that make a meaningful impact on students’

Formación

• 2+ years of experience working with children or young people with complex additional needs (ASC, ADHD, SEMH, EBSA, trauma, PDA, mental health).
• Understanding of child-centred, holistic approaches to education and support.
• Safeguarding knowledge; Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references.

Responsabilidades

• Develop strong, positive relationships with children and young people in homes and community settings.
• Provide one-to-one support and deliver creative, interest-based activities.
• Support development of life skills, confidence, and independence.
• Use trauma-informed approaches and flexible strategies to support a wide range of needs.
• Provide feedback and reflections to track progress and adapt support.
