Job summary

Academics is seeking a proactive SEN Learning Support Assistant to support children and young people with Autism, SEMH and other needs in a therapeutic education setting. You will work closely with teachers to create a safe, engaging learning environment.

The role focuses on one-to-one and small-group support, emotional regulation, personal development and inclusion, helping students access personalised learning programmes while building confidence.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people with Autism, SEMH or other additional needs.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Resilience and ability to stay calm in challenging situations.
• Commitment to helping students develop academically, socially and emotionally.
